What's the difference?
- FROSTING SHEETS: Frosting sheets are edible paper primarily made of sugar & cornstarch and have a backing that needs to be removed before application. They work best for special occasion or when you need the color or design to really pop. They can be a little harder to use than Wafer paper for some but are not translucent and are best suited for an application that you need the picture quality to be superb. We have been using the same High Quality Frosting Sheets for 16 years!
- Can be used on Frosting, Royal Icing, Fondant, Gum Paste, Whipped Icing & White Chocolate. You can use these sheets to wrap cakes, Cut out to make 3-D gum paste shapes & flowers, use on cookies, cupcakes or any dessert you can think of.

- WAFER PAPER SHEETS: Wafer paper has no backing like frosting sheets. They are ready to go out the package. They are slightly translucent but the colors pop once placed on a white background. Can be used on Frosting, Royal Icing, Fondant, Gum Paste, Whipped Icing & White Chocolate. They are a cheaper, easier alternative to Frosting Sheets when in the need to make a lot of treats. These work great if you need a dated or worn look to your project. Can be made into flowers, cut and punched!

CAKE STRIP/WRAP CHART: If you are using these to wrap a cake tier, the chart numbers reference to one strip, not one sheet. So if the 8" round says it needs 3 strips, How many sheets you need would be determined by the height of your cake.
So if you were to cut your sheet in half horizontal, that would be considered 2, 4"high strips. So for an 8" round you would need 3 strips, so you would need 2 sheets. This would give you 4 strips. If you cut that sheet into 3 strips, Approx. 2.5" high horizontal, you would just need one sheet.
And if your cake is 8" high, one sheet (horizontal) would be considered a strip and you would need 3. Please feel free to reach out if you need help to determine this. =)
